I've been grinding my teeth all my life, so it's hard to say with any degree of certainty...but I did not notice any increase in grinding when starting lamictal. I still take it. 200 mg 2x day.

Note on mouthguards - you can pick up a 'sports' guard at any pharmacy and see if it helps. It's cheaper than going to the dentist straight away.
