Desyrel and sedation ? How much ?

How strong is the sedation of Trazodon (Desyrel) comparing to tricyclics like Amitryptiline (Elavil) or Trimipramine ? And compared to Remeron ? I couldnt stand the sedation side effect of Elavil even atlow dose ! Remeron knocked me out for a day after only 7.5 mg at night.
