Hi. I'm not sure about Prozac in particular, but I've heard that the weight gain on SSRI's, in general, is NOT proportional to the dose. The weight gain on some meds, like the older tricyclic AD's, is usually proportional to the dose, and the weight will come off when the AD is stopped. On SSRIs, however, the weight gain is often not proportional to the dose, and it can take six months to a year for the weight to come off once the drug is stopped. I would imagine that this could be variable though, depending on the individual.
