Any input on drugs for nervousness. I’ve been high strung and unsettled by even the little stuff all my life. I have Lorazepam for anxiety but, it being a Benzo, I can’t use it daily and still keep getting the sedative effect. I’ve tried. Continuous Benzo use soon feels like no Benzo use.
I’m starting to feel less depressed but I still worry so much about keeping up with things that I feel nervous and keyed up all the time. I feel overwhelmed and almost sick to my stomach as I try and go about getting things done.
I read in this site a lot of people taking Klonopin. But isn’t that still just another Benzo that quits giving the initial good sedation after a couple of weeks of constant use?
I guess Buspar helps some people, but its effect for me wasn’t strong enough to notice.
Regarding SSRIs I’ve tried Prozac, Zoloft, and Paxil. My preference is Prozac. Zoloft and Paxil, though less activating than Prozac, didn’t help that much with anxiety.
I take 30mg Prozac, 300 mg Neurontin 4 times per day.
What else is anybody taking to help their anxious nature or ease up on the continuous negative assessments about things?
