A Small World Indeed - How Similar We Are...

I've been on Zyprexa for almost a month at 5mg, and it was very sedating during the first week. At the moment, however, it doesn't make me tired enough to fall asleep, nor is it making me drowsy. In fact, I feel more alert after taking it. I'd like to speak with my pdoc about increasing the dosage to 10mg, but I don't want to become a "zombie" like you reported. I also do not want any adverse side-effects. So, unless you're unwilling to tolerate possible side-effects, I would ask your doctor about increasing the dose a bit. Of course you have the option of suggesting a trial of Resperdal, Seroquel, or Geodon. The options are there...Best wishes. &8-]
