Hi Darby.

> After 12 years of searching (and trying every almost major psych med), I'm doing 20mg of Prozac and 8mg (b.i.d)of Gabitril and have never felt better in my life. I took Prozac (by itself) at a much higher dose many years ago, with mixed results. Taken with Gabitril, there seems to be a synergy that's given me unbelievable relief. Lamictal worked very similarly when I took it with Celexa.

Your Gabitril story is exciting. How long did it take for it to start working? What side effects are there?

I'm curious as to how you would describe the depression you suffered from. I'm sort of bipolar, and the main features of my depression include extreme fatigue, a burdonsome heaviness and weakness in my limbs, and a general lack of energy and motivation to move, even to get off a chair to go to the bathroom. Also, my memory is impaired and I can't read more than a few sentences before I have to stop - and then only with minimal comprehension.

Would you considered to be treatment-resistant? What drugs had you tried in the past.

I would really appreciate any information you can provide me with.

Thanks.

- Scott
