>I want to tell you a little story hopefully not too late now. I was recently diagnosed ADD etc same/similer age as you. I started taking a 20mg pill of Ritalin SR. I had a bad reaction like you describe and headaches etc. It was awful. I tried cutting them up and taking less amounts but still not good. So I switched to Wellbutrin. Took 1/4 pill at first to get used to it, 100mg SR. anyway after a few weeks I was taking wellbutrin but not more than 1/2 or 1 pill a day. Then I tried taking the Ritalin again in small doses and it was amazing! No more rapid heart or headache etc! Only a feeling of being energized and motivated and focused! Now understand I would only take a 1/4 or 1/2 of the 20mg SR pill. Anymore would still not be good. Not as bad as before but still not as productive as less. I like some people have a higher sensitivity to drugs and so I cut up what would be a regular dose and take less and it works much better. Something to think about. I also take small amounts of Adderal and it works great. I think what happened was the Wellbutrin "primed" my brain to accept it and other similer working meds which were not well tolerated at first.
