Yep, after trying the herbal route, get a doc that doesn't take away your freedom of choice. Someone that specialises in treating anxiety disorders that know the BZD's and know what they are talking about. If YOU want to try these low risk, highly effective meds, YOU'RE the boss, not the doc. Get a second or even third opinion until you have some competent care.
