If the Tricylic Antidepressant problem for you is the anticholinergic side effects, you might discuss with your doctor about the option of using Evoxac which is pro-cholinergic, and is marketed for Sjogrens Syndrome, along with a Tricylic Antidepressant.
One's hope would be that Evoxac might lessen the anticholinergic effect of a Tricylic antidepressant.
If your doctor is unfamilliar with Evoxac, you can either get offical prescribing information from a pharmacy or perhaps from the company who manufactures Evoxac. If your doctor is not comfortable doing that, perhaps he/she could refer you to a physician who would be better aquainted with the use of Evoxac
(pronounced e-vo-zac)Just an option to look into.
