Ronn,

Two thoughts. How is the Zoloft working for you? If it's working great, I think it would be a shame to have to discontinue it and was wondering if you're new psychiatrist would write a prescription for enough pills until you see him?
I have no idea if they do that or not but am just trying to explore all options.

If you still want to switch to the Prozac, when I also did what you're thinking about doing, my psychiatrist tapered down the Zoloft while very gradually adding in the Prozac until I had completely made the switch. If I remember correctly, I was at 50mg Zoloft so that was the starting point. I had no problems whatsoever but please don't just take my word for it and triple check what I say. The standard disclaimer - I am not a qualified medical professional.

Good luck.

Misty
