This is my experience on ADs.
Usually I could go either way up or down 20 lbs
about a center point. When I got off a medicine
that slowed down my metabolism/increased hunger and stayed off meds
or went on a neutral med, my weight tended to normalize
over 2 months (for 10 lbs). Same went for weight gain.
If I swithched from a weight loss to weight gain med or
vice versa I might go much faster like 20 lbs in 2 months.
Generally you can't expect to lose more than 2-3 lbs in
1 week. Everybodys body is different.

If Paxil slowed down your metabolism and you got off of
Paxil, then it is sorta like you are excersizing now compared
to when you were on Paxil, even if you aren't? Make sense?
If you actually excersize on top of things and eat right you
can get the ball rolling faster, but the 2-3 lb/week rule is
still about the max one can expect.

I wouldn't be too discouraged. You'll lose the weight, but
you need to invest a little work if you want to lose it
faster than your body's thermostat will do it.

Best of luck,
John
