> Anna - That's actually good to hear. I switched from effexor to rebox. after effexor started making me want to eat all the time. Effexor worked really well - only at 150mg until the eating began. I've tried other SSRI's that didn't work so I thought the rebox (being only an NRI) would maybe do what effexor did without craving carbohydrates. After 6 days, on rebox. I lost the confident happy feeling that effexor gave me. I did a pretty quick switch, though, tapering off effexor while starting the rebox.. I think I'm going to stick to the effexor until the summer when I naturally feel better and then maybe try the rebox. again. But, in the meantime, I might try the rebox. with it to keep my energy up. How do you deal with the insomnia and constipation? Thanks for your response. I look forward to hearing more!!
Hi Jess,
Insomina and constipation subsided after a few weeks, at least in my case.
I think you should stick to Effexor since it seemed to be working fairly good for you.
If i were you, i'd try to add a little bit of Reboxetine to it and see if you can tolerate it.
If adrenergic stimulation is what you need, then Effexor/Reboxetine combo would be a good choice. (Talk to your pdoc about that before making any move though).
I still have a side-effect from effexor that didn't go away that is excessive sweating: it's a bit unpleasant, especially during winter months as sweat ing when it's cold it's rather uncomfortable, but i think i'll get over it since i need adrenergic stimulation.Be well
