Anyone take Akatinal (memantine) or know anything?

I am looking for any information on Akatinal (memantine). Because of my depression I really need some help w/ memory and cognitive function. This forgetfullness of mine is driving my husband crazy (and he's driving me crazy, LOL). I also take Adderal, and have heard that memantine protects the neurons from becoming tolerant to stimulants. Could it also help prevent AD poop-out? Every AD I've ever taken has pooped-out on me eventually.

I currently take:
Adderal 20mg/3xday
Desipramine 25mg/2xday
Celexa 40/mg
Trazodone 50-100mg/night

After 6 months of frustrating and painful med trials, this cocktail seems to be doing the trick. I feel better now than ever, except for the memory and cognitive functions. I'm thinking memantine might help w/ the mental stuff and also prevent tolerance to Adderal and my other ADs.
