Could be a lot of things. It could be akathesia or just plain old SSRI activation...common in the first couple weeks on an SSRI. I get this way the first week or two on an SSRI or Effexor...have to move around a lot, feel "wired," sweat a lot, feel "icy hot" like a burning feeling, increased anxiety, etc. Feel activated off my ass. Like I just have to lay down on my bed and lay there, but also have to move around a lot. Then it totally goes away after a few days to a week and I feel better. But first I have to go thru that initial "SSRI activation" phase.

Id say if this problem goes away on its own after a few weeks its probably no biggie...probably just the drug activation and your body adjusting to the AD. If it continues longterm though, more than a few weeks, thats definitely not something youd want. If it continues, maybe a mood stabiliser would be in order on top of the antidepressant. Some people cant tolerate antidepressants without a mood stabiliser added.
