> Babbledom people: I was given an AD by a psychiatrist even though I told him that I had a previous adverse reaction to an AD years ago. He told me that the one that he was giving me was different and that it was like taking asperin. Six days later I was hearing a song in my head. Now I hear wretched music 24/7 and it will never stop. It is awfull. He decieved me into taking the drug for it was in the same class as the one that I was alllergic to.
> Then I went to another doctor in an attempt to stop the music. He gave me a drug without telling me that it was addictive and that I would go through a horrific withdraw and suffer lifetime consequences.(clonazepam). I was Double-Doctored. Any babbledom people have similar experiances?

Lou,We have talked about this kind of stuff here a few times in the past. Have you considered that you may possibly have bipolar disorder or epilepsy? I have to limit my SSRi dosage to the bare minimum-because if I increase it I get music playing in my head, too. Also, when I become hypomanic I hear music in there a lot more. Some people think it is OCD (intrusive music). If you take an OCD med (such as SSRI's) and it gets *worse* I would consider bipolar or epilepsy. It might be a good thing to see a neurologist and get an EEG.
good luck,
Mitch
