> -ChrisI would not get that concerned if you are switching the meds. Depakote doesn't have a very long half-life anyways. Call your doc and see if you can do a rapid cross-taper-i.e. drop your Depakote in half the first day with a small dose of Tegretol, then drop the Depakote in half the next day and then double the Teg. dose, etc., getting yourself completely switched over in four days or so.
