I don't want to be on anti deprssants my whole life. I'm hoping that effexor helped "rewire my brain" from all the damage I did too it from the partying I did as a teenager.
If your rashes just appeared, it's probably not effexor. The side effects only appear when you first start taking the medecine (according to my doctor). It took me about 3 months to get off effexor, and I don't want to have to wait three months to stop taking a drug.
By the way, I'm in France and a month's worth of effexor (300mg a day) is only around $75.00. I wonder what US insurance companies think of that?

> If the only side effects you had were the lame ones you felt when you forgot to take them, why did you go off effexor? Or did you have other one stoo?
> I'm asking because I'm on it for about two years too and after reading some scary stuff and having some rashes that I am not sure are from the Effexor, I'm contemplating of switching.
> But I am happy overall with Effexor and am scared to go the wrong way again!
