I take Effexor XR and Adderall. For me, the effexor is activating, not sedating.
Adderall helps me feel *calmer*, actually. And, in terms of tolerance, I've been on it about 2 years now, with no real breaks and have been at the same dose all along. I did experiment with a slightly higher dose for about a month during the fall, but then felt that my light box therapy was working, and went back to the old dose (10mg 3x day).
BTW, are you taking the new longer acting version of adderall?
