Thanks for your info. I couldn't continue Topamax b/c, for some reason, it made me Really tired. Otherwise, it did help with the mania at @250 mg. But, once I stopped, I realized how bad the cognitive effects were - that may not happen to you, may not make a difference to you if it does, but I did much better on Depakote.
