> Geno, keep me posted on how you do with Gabatril. Gabatril seems to be the closest legal thing to GHB there is on the market since it is a GABA reuputake inhibitor (kind of like an SSRI for GABA- anxiety, social phobia, inhibition, insomnia, although it effects might be totally different. That one guy might have not liked derealization, but that may help social phobics- Nardil & Parnate the MAOIs are kind of derealization drugs, kind of like alcohol- they make you care less about what people think of you, thus increasing confidence.
Have you talked to your doctor about maybe being bipolar? They first thought I had ADD, then Major Depression, then Bipolar. Currently I take 60 mg of Remeron & 300mg/day of Neurontin which I am supposed to increase to 900 mg/day in two weeks. (Unfortunately they took away my beloved Klonopin- the closest thing to a 'three beer effect' I have found).
But, the bipolar meds are similar to alcohol/GHB/benzos because of their site of action- the GABA area. I think Depakote might be very GHB/3 Beer effect like since it widens the GABA sodium channels which is what alcohol does I think? (In other words, I think it feel like a high dose benzo). But, on paper, Gabatril appears to be the best possibility, better than depakote, to be the '3 beer effect' drug I have been looking for.
