In reply to boredom, a sign ?, posted by janejj on January 2, 2002, at 22:29:58

I remember being bored LOT during my major depression. Since then however, I am rarely bored as I seem to enjoy events and people more easily. I am still bored at times, but then I do something not to be. With depression I just stayed in boredom and it became intolerable. It seemed like life itself was just a long long long boring thing.

If you did not feel it before, perhaps it is indeed a sign that you are in a different phase of your depression. If it is "normal" boredom, then definitely (e.g.: thi movie is boring). If it is depressive boredom (e.g.: life is soooo boring), then it's a different phase for you. Either way, I hope you do better in general.
