I don't know about Lamictal but i do know some antidepressants drugs could alter the immune system. Imipramine can alter the immune system and produce swollen glands for sure.
I'm not a doctor and don't know much about swollen lymph nodes mechanism but i've noticed chronic stress may induce swollen liymph nodes. I don't have a clue why this is happening though.
I've experienced that myself: i got swollen glands in my throath after a severe prolonged stress period years ago, got awfully scared but blood screening didn't show anything at all.
My mother got swollen lymph nodes after his father died.
Even if you had some infection doesn't necessarily imply you have some serious health condition since you can get swollen glands for trivial causes such as a tooth-ache, a bruise or a minor virus infection like flu that might go undetected from routine tests.
You'd better take some blood test though and most important, talk to your doctor about that first.
Don't hesitate to do so don't be too alarmed: you can definetely have swollen lymph nodes from a variety of causes, remember that it doesn't necessarily imply you have some serious desease.
Take care.
