I was at my pdocs and he had some research reports on the use of QEEGs (Quantitative EEG) to determine meds. Thought they might be of interest--do not know where you can find them on line, but assume the more adventurous can.
Electrophysiology in Neuropsychiatric Research: A Network Perspective by Georg Winterer, Werner Herrman and Richard Coppola. CNS Specturms 1999;4(8):17-29.
Neurometric Subgroups in Attentional and Affective Disorders and Their Association with Pharmacotherapeutic Outcome by Stephen C. Suffin and W. Hamlin Emory. Clinical Electroencephalography 1995;26(2): 76-83
Predictors of Therapeutic Response to Treatments for Depression: A Review of Electrophysiologic and Dichotic Listening Studies. CNS Spectrums 1999; 4(8): 30-36.
The author of the second article listed, Emory, is my pdoc. The best article is the first one, although they are all interesting.
