See a psych for the med combo you want to take. Family docs are paranoid when it comes to taking a benzo; it's ridiculous. I take Prozac daily, and Xanax when needed [not too often] but I take Xanax with Trazadone to sleep. Prozac is great for my depression and obsessing thoughts, but at times I still get anxiety. My family doc is not thrilled about Xanax, so my psych gives me the script. Good luck. My understanding is Buspar needs 4 weeks to be in your system with an SSRI. Supposedly it works well for some, but not for others.

I have been taking celexa/buspar but recently contacted my doctor to request a celexa/klonipin combo and they said NO! i need to see phy doc for that! what is the big deal???
