Parnate, Chills and Weight Gain

Posted by pat c. on November 22, 2001, at 8:31:11

I been on Parnate two weeks and I'm getting a bad case of the chills. I remember experiencing this with Nardil and I had to wear long underwear all the time. It was a drag.

I have not gained weight yet on Parnate, and I hope I don't, because I gained 60 pounds on Nardil, and I couldn't handle that.

Parnate has yet to help my depression, which has gotten worse. I actually took 100mg of Wellbutrin to help to relieve this "double depression" (atypical with clinical), and although I feel better this morning, I can feel the Wellbutrin anxiety side-effect real bad. I'm aware I shouldn't take Parnate and Wellbutrin together.

So I'm wondering what's worse: the anxiety or the depression.

Thanks.

Pat
