Hi Noa,

I believe that atomoxetine is a chemical cousin of reboxetine (an SNRI). Basically, from what I have heard they are going to try to market a selective NE reuptake inhibitor for ADHD. It is in stage III clinical trials now and should get approval in the next few months. BUT, there are only 300 people in the study and it has been rather long-running and there has been a lot of speculation that it may not offer much advantage over already available antidepressants to treat ADHD, such as desipramine, bupropion, etc. Does anybody else have any more info?

Mitch
