Ross: Don't worry about bothering, you're not. I had the hypertensive reaction on Parnate which is known to cause more hypertensive reactions. I took the antidote. I don't remember the dosage. Anyway, the antidote brought my blood pressure back down, but I felt like crap for about 5 days. My hypertensive reaction came not from food but from amphetamines--which you have to be VERY careful about adding to MAOs.
