Hey Ben -

I was on only 10 mgs/day of Paxil for four months. I felt lethargic and slept 10 hrs a night plus a three hr nap in the afternoon for the first several weeks. That went away though. I soon was sleeping (with vivid dreams) 8 hours a night.

I gained 20 lbs in 4 months despite being very physically active (running 5 miles every other day, lifting weights four times a week) and having a very healthy diet. Under normal conditions, I maintain a healthy physique on this regime. On Paxil, all bets were off for me. All the weight I gained was fat (not muscle), would NOT come off despite added exercise and further diet restrictions. 6 months after discontinuation , I've lost a bit more than half of it.

Hopefully you'll have a different response!

Cheers,
Daniel
