Hi,
I'm like you as far as getting side effects -- if there's a side effect to get, I get it.I didn't do well with Anafranil or Nortriptyline -- the Anafranil was too sedating (and the dry mouth was unbearable), and the Nortriptyline was too activating. I did however, do pretty well on a low dose of Desipramine.
So, if the Anafranil doesn't work out, there is still hope!
