drugs that affect cortisol levels

Posted by SallyR on October 17, 2001, at 9:22:36

Has anyone had any experience with drugs that affect cortisol levels besides ketoconazole? I have been reading about a drug called anticort that is currently in clinical trials. Its primary ingredient is procaine HCl. This is also available in something called GH3. Also, there is a drug test for raised cortisol levels that can be purchased. Any experience out there?
Thanks.
