> There is a thread above about some bad experiences some folks have had with certain generics and that got me thinking....I realize that different people may react differently to generics so I wouldn't want to cause problems for any companies but on the other hand, if several people post problems here that they might be having with their new generic, AND they get the name of the manufacturer, it might save us a lot us from going through too much stress when the culpret turns out to be one of the newer generic Prozacs that are available. I recently got mine from Canadadrugs.com and they are called Novo-Fluoxetine(Novopharm). So far, I don't think I am having any problems with them at all. My niece told me she was having serious problems with her new med and I am going to find out more and post it here. Does this make sense to do since so many take this drug and the generic is so new? Hoping to help and NOT CAUSE problems, Collette
I would wonder why the generics would
differ in any way from the brand name except
potentially in how the pills are wrapped up.
i.e. what is the processing technique
(coloring,fillers, waxes,etc) that hold the
pill together. These differences could cause
sensitivities between people. But have people
really found quality control of the medication(s)
themselves to be an issue? These companies would
be set up for huge law-suits.-john
