I wouldn't worry about which drug is cleaner. I think he/she probably meant what Janelle is referring to--the targeting of only seratonin, which of course has its pluses and minuses. I'm not familiar with either drug to tell you which is better for you. I wouldn't stay on an AD if it was giving me chest pains. Have you checked that out; are you sure its celexa is causing this? In any case, I just wanted to wanted to give you an idea that my pdoc has. He thinks that if a AD worked for you and poops out, the first thing to do is to try a stimulent (ritalin, dexadrine, concerta, etc) with the pooped-out AD. He works a lot with depression and he said in the majority of cases, that does the trick. Anyway, just one idea.
