Geodon dosing questions

I have been taking Geodon for just a week now and so far, I don't notice any effect at all. My pdoc equivicated about when to take my pills and then decided that I could just take two( 40 mgs total) in the AM. I like that because I am afraid I will forget to take my second dose. I am wondering if taking all the medication at one time makes any difference? Thanks, Collette
