Diane- In the past I have been advised to take Effexor in divided doses. My present psychiatrist tells me I can take it all whenever I want. So I take all 375 mgs. in the morning right after breakfast and have no problems. Whenever I have taken a dose after six or seven in the evening I have had trouble sleeping.Good Luck,
