Ya, I thought about that, but the speech problem only crops up when I'm sleepy. If I go out for a walk, the speech problem goes away. I talked to my neuro about it and he said not to worry about it. He said he's more concerned about getting me to sleep longer and getting rid of the anxiety. He said we would deal with the speech problem later if it persists. Pdoc said that both drugs can cause the problem alone. But since I didn't have the problem with just the xanax, he can't determine if it's the Zyprexa or the combo. I suppose time will tell. Hopefully, as I back off the xanax, everything will resolve itself, as long as the Zyprexa works without intolerable side affects. I just love being these doctors own little chemistry lab.
