I did read on the benzo- buster board that benzos can cause this. Anybody had this happen to them? It is very aggrevating and causes me alot of anxiety. Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
> > I have mentioned it to my doctor and she just shrugged it off. I think she just thinks it's part of my depression. I am also taking 50 mg. zoloft. Maybe the serotonin is causing this. Who knows?! I am really getting tired of trying to figure this all out! Before all these medications all I suffered from were some bouts of crying. Now I have a ton of problems. Maybe the meds. are just not good for me. Oh well, back to another wonderful day-yuck!Hey Petey,
It sounds like the Zoloft might be the one causing it. I had that with Prozac BIG TIME. It never bothered me much though. I could be listening to music and hear "different" stuff playing in there from time to time. If you know it isn't real it really is more of an illusion than a hallucination. BUT, if this is causing you a lot of distress I would tell the doctor, and be assertive about it. You could be having some temporal lobe stuff being triggered by the Zoloft. Ask your doctor if it is possible that the Zoloft is provoking temporal lobe seizures and see what he/she says. They may not have thought about that. There is a questionnaire here about "subsyndromal epilepsy", dang, I don't have the link to it (can someone help?).
Hope you get this straightened out-tell us what you find out ok? There have been others here (including myself) that experience that kind of stuff and do have epilepsy.Mitch
