Ok, I'm replying to my own post here...heh heh...but I wanted to explain why I asked the above question (it wasn't just to be dumb and annoying--although it probably seems that way). I recently called a psychiatric clinic and am awaiting a call back. I know that for some of the symptoms I've been having (including temporal lobe type stuff) Depakote is high on this guy's list. Maybe even at the top.
I've been researching Depakote just in case, and I came accross this page which addresses Depakote's weight gain properties:

If you scroll down to where it says "Valproate," you will see what I'm talking about.

Please, if anyone can either confirm or refute, anecdotally, what this doctor from the aforementioned web site claims, I would appreciate it.
