It just takes too long to post disclaimers every time you want to express something. Dr. Bob puts it plainly at the top of the page: Don't believe everything that you read. It's up to individuals to research and gather information from various sources, and this forum is just one of them. I think this group of folks is great, myself. I mean, have you taken a look at the alt.psych forums? This is cognoscentian Utopia compared to some corners of the 'net.
> I've been following posts (and posted myself a few times), and it seems like at least 75% of the responses people receive to their trepidatious inquiries re: meds are all about horror stories! People, don't you realize that, when you say "I took that and it was a 'LIVING HELL'", you're subconciously influencing that person and partially determining what the ultimate effects of that med are?! Please ALWAYS include a "My experiences shouldn't be taken as the end all/be all. There are many success stories about this med out there." disclaimer if you're going to post this negativity. You may be depriving an individual of just the med they need with your negative feedback.
