I agree with sl, My experience with topamax was appropriate to its nick name, dope a max. The effects on estrogen absorbson vary. I am on estogens for menopause, and was concerned about the interaction. In me, it is the opposit, I can reduce the amount if the psych med is causeing an increase in estrogens absorbson. Getting a second and third opinion about your other situations is important. Good luck and keep us posted.
Another source of drug interaction is your very friendly Pharmasist. He sees a lot and mine has helped me a lot and is always available. A quick call may allieviate alot of your concern

> I don't know anything about the estrogenic effects of these things, but I do know that losing words may very well be an effect of Topamax. I've heard lots about odd neurological affects of Topamax, and word-finding difficulties is one of the more common ones with psychiatric meds.
