Let's say that you were treating a patient that spent the most part of their day on a computer. Would you not in the best interest of your patient advise them to work on other areas of their life?
Personally, I could be on the best drugs ever, but as long as I spent my days on a computer rather then interacting with friends, working, spending time with family, running aerons and working out I would never have a chance in hell in ever recovering. Wouldn't you agree?
In occupational therapy they inforce balance in one's life and I strongly believe in it in order to improve mental health.
