This doesn't respond to benzos, trazodone (dangerous), or seemingly, anything else. What's the most powerful sedative out there?-- cause I'm gonna need it.

Too well?

Sal.

I think you should consider very carefully the possibility that you are now experiencing hypomania, possibly of a mixed type.

Once the fire is lit, its hard to predict how far it will go. If you know for sure you are are bipolar II, it might not progress any further. Either way, it is to your advantage to address it as soon as possible.

I asked you in another thread how much sleep you were getting. You didn't answer me there, but you have here reinforced my concerns. I really think you ought to go to a doctor for a change and get yourself thoroughly evaluated. I am tempted to here recommend a strategy to treat mania and put you to sleep, but I don't want to diagnose you or make it too easy for you not to make a doctor's appointment. I hope my concerns are unfounded. I doubt you or I are qualified to come to a conclusion. However, I have noted that in the last 1 1/2 to 2 weeks, you have evidenced things that, in my experience, are consistent with mania - certainly enough to cause me concern. Most hypomanics are absolutely sure that they are not - and they can prove it.

Almost nothing can put a manic to sleep. Think about it.

Sincerely,
Scott
