I really appreciate all of the information everyone posted! I found what I was looking for. If anyone is interested in reading the official text of the Code of Federal Regulations relating to the prescription of controlled substances in the United States, here is the URL:http://www.access.gpo.gov/nara/cfr/waisidx_01/21cfr1306_01.html
As a followup question, can anyone help me find the state regulations relating to the prescription of controlled substances for the state of California (or a general link for ALL states)?
Thanks again!
