Ben,

To the best of my knowledge, there is no association between hyperprolactinaemia and depression.

Bromocriptine occassionally helps with depression and also lowers prolactin. However, bromo lowers prolactin by acting on the turbofindibular (spelling?) dopamine pathwath, but if it acts to ameliorate depression it does so via the mesocortical-limbic dopoamine pathway.
