> Have you tried keeping a journal or migraine diary to find things that trigger your migraines? Don't give up on medications. I know they aren't pleasant and can intefere with your life. Have you asked your doctor about other preventatives besides ADs?

> WillowWillow, thank you again, it is very nice of you to take the time and respond to my questions. To answer you, yes, he has tried me on tenormon, which is a blood pressure medicine, and has talked about trying me on an anti-seizure medicine next. He wants me to try the effexor first, and I am to see him back in about two months. He didn't think that the wellbutrin would help, either, but said anything is worth a try. I am tired of trying all this medicine and have all the side effects, but agree with you that a person has to go through trial and error to find the right medicine for them.
When I was given the wellbutrin and the effexor perscription, was told to try wellbutrin and then the effexor, but I don't know how to go from one to the other, do I go off the wellbutrin and then wait two weeks and start the effexor, or can I go directly on the effexor? And the other question I have, is how do I stop the wellbutrin? I was on 300mg. a day, and then went to l50mg. in the morning and split one to take 75 in the afternoon, today, I have just taken the 150mg. this morning and I'm not taking one this afternoon.
