> I began klonopin a week ago and has almost completely cured my anxiety, but i do not feel that socialable. My life would be a ten out of ten if i felt more outgoing. Currently I take 2mg of klonopin per day, but has anyone else had success with increasing the dosage by a few milligrams without getting addicted. I know that everyone reacts to meds in different ways, but i just want to get a feel what others have felt on a higher dosage. Do you feel more sociable or less.
> PS just got off of Geodon because it made me extremely restless. Also, i need to stay away from ssris because they make me feel diroreinted."Adiction" is a tough word when applied to a case like this. Some people become dependent upon it at much lower doses beacuse it and only it works for them; (maybe like blood pressure medicine or insulin); some people who take it for seizures take much higher does and do not become dependent.
However, if 2 mg/day is working for you, why fool around with success. Try tapering back after a while and you'll know if your body still needs it or not. There are much worse things than taking Klonopin permanently. Panic being one of those worse things.
