I need a stimulant to use for my temporary depression that will last 6 months to a year. If I get a hold of one I will take it along with my Zyprexa. But how can I get one prescribed to me? It seems doctors can be very reluctant to prescribe them. The two doctors at the hospital told me stimulants would be an option very down the line. I dont want to wait.
Next week I am going to see my family physician who went on vacation.
Here are things I thought up in order to try and convince him to prescribe me a stimulant like Ritalin, Adderall, Dexedrine or others:
To reduce my Zyprexa daytime drowsiness (will go away anyway)
To help with my poor concentration and memory problems. My large fatigue and lack of energy.
And also the main reason that they have anti depressant effects that work fast.
Is there anything else I could say? Does anyone have any insight how I could improve my chances of getting a hold of a stimulant? I really need one.
