Paxil has saved my life and helped my mental disorders greatly but just like everyone else had to discontinue usage because of the terrible side effects. I got everything from herpes simplex and skin rashs to jaw and shoulder displacement from paxil.

perhaps my case is abnormal (my depression is abnormal due to being caused by a med) but I have had almost no side effects at all from paxil and also effexor. Although they were both low dose. Perhaps side effects would indicate a med is working (neighter of them worked for me, made me worse). I hope my next med will work (zyprexa).
take care.
