Zoloft nighttime or divided doses?

Posted by Ted on August 7, 2001, at 13:54:53

The PDR recommends that zoloft be taken in the mornings in one dose. Would there be a problem with taking it at bed time? Or better yet, what about taking it half in the morning and half at bed time?

A divided dose should make the serum (blood) level of the drug & its metabolites more constant.

My reason for asking is that I think this might help with the sexual side effects. By taking divided doses, I can wait until afterwards to take my latest dose.

Just a thought.
