For those in the USA. If your meds cause you job-related problems, and you have been stigmatized (or harassed) by your employer because of any "mental" condition, you may want to look up the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act). Effective in 1992, and clarified by EEOC in 1997, people with "psychiatric disabilites" are covered by the same regulations pertaining to job-discrimination as physical disabilities. E.G., they cannot treat you differently (in a negative sense) as long as you can do your job.
