Yes, I'd get a real p-doc ASAP. As for Wellbutrin, I found the effects creeped up on me, and I only got the best effect after a year. So, if you can, hold on and don't give up on it yet. I went through some really hard times (including rage like you mention, but also major depression) the first five months or maybe more that I was on Wellbutrin, but I have calmed down significantly. A mood stabilizer might help. I take Depakote.
